EDUCATION WORKS FOR MAINE

The Education Works for Maine campaign is a partnership between Educate Maine and the Maine State Chamber of Commerce. The purpose of this is to share examples of innovative educators and education practices making a positive difference in the lives of Maine people.

Addressing Maine’s workforce challenge is one of the state’s greatest priorities.  The Making Maine Work series highlights the need for a highly trained workforce for today’s jobs and the jobs of tomorrow. These are the people who will drive the economy and build thriving communities. Our organizations see education – inside and outside the classroom – as the greatest investment we can make in Maine people and as a powerful economic development strategy.

We are interested in what you think, and we invite you to share your stories. Our goal is to amass an inventory of stories that help us understand how to best support a healthy and productive education system in Maine.
